High-Speed Mixer for Raw Material Preparation
A high-speed mixer is used in compounding lines to premix raw materials before feeding them into the extrusion system. It helps improve the initial distribution of powders, additives, pigments, and other formulation components, especially in applications where dry blending is required before extrusion.
The mixer configuration depends on the material system, batch size, mixing intensity, and production sequence. For some compounds, premixing improves feeding stability and supports more consistent formulation control. In other applications, the raw materials may be fed directly through gravimetric or volumetric systems without a separate premixing stage.
