A strand pelletizer cuts cooled and dried polymer strands into uniform pellets. It is normally installed at the end of a water-cooling strand pelletizing line or an air-cooling strand system.
After the strands are cooled and surface moisture is removed, they enter the pelletizer and are cut into pellets with consistent length. Stable strand feeding and clean cutting are important for good pellet shape and smooth downstream handling.
